Meet The Judges
At the heart of our competition is something simple: a genuine love for dogs.
We’re the Wright family — a small, family-run team bringing this project to life because dogs have always been a huge part of our world. From muddy walks and zoomies in the garden to curled-up sofa naps, we’ve spent our lives surrounded by them, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
This competition started as a fun idea in the kitchen and quickly turned into something we wanted to share with everyone. Because honestly, there’s nothing better than celebrating the personalities, quirks, and absolute chaos that make every dog so special.
Who we are
We’re not a big organisation or a faceless panel of judges — just a family who loves dogs and enjoys a good dose of friendly competition.
The Wright family will be reviewing entries together, sharing opinions, laughing at the chaos, and trying (not always successfully) to agree on winners. Every decision is made with care, a sense of fun, and a lot of “awww, look at that one.”
How we judge
We don’t take things too seriously — but we do take joy seriously.
We look for:
- Personality that shines through
- Moments that make us smile out loud
- Genuine character, charm, and uniqueness
- And, of course… a bit of delightful chaos
Whether it’s a perfectly posed floof or a gloriously mischievous pup mid-mayhem, we celebrate dogs just being dogs.
Why we do it
We’ve always believed dogs bring people together. They make us laugh, get us outside, and remind us not to take life too seriously.
This project is our way of sharing that joy — and hopefully creating a space where dog lovers everywhere can do the same.
